Middleton Cheney Special Educational Needs Trust acts as an independent voluntary resource with an aim 'To assist in the advancement of education of children who require provision by having special educational needs in their mainstream educational setting within the village of Middleton Cheney'.

We aim to achieve this by

- Ensuring regular successful fundraising events and activities take place.

- being able to financially assist or support any required matter in the educational enhancement of SEN children.

- encouraging good relations between the charity and beneficiaries, focussing on the current situation and requirements of the schools.

- Promoting awareness and issues of the charity where possible.

The three mainstream settings of Middleton Cheney, those being the pre-school, the primary School and Chenderit will be able to apply for financial assistance in the matter of educating children who have special educational needs of any degree. As the schools continue to work by a tight budget, the support for teaching staff in the field of SEN continues to be minimal, and so MCSENT has been created to help the situation and hopefully provide some assistance when or where necessary.

MCSENT have pleasure in holding FUN-raisers, not just fund-raisers!!! Please support the charity where possible if your child attends any of the schools in the village,as it is certain that ALL children will benefit, not just those who have SEN; any additional funding that the schools receive is in the best possible interest for ALL children and  students that attend.
