Middleton Cheney Primary School is a learning community where every child is consistently given the opportunity to achieve the highest standards in his or her development; in which every member of the community is valued and to which everyone is able to give of their best.

The school is a mixed primary school for children between the ages of four and eleven. It is maintained by Northamptonshire County Council, the Local Education Authority (LEA) for schools in the area. The Headteacher is Mr Philip Percival and Mr Mike Scarlett chairs the school's Governing Body.
